Today was a cleaning day! I did some laundry, finished part of something I was working on, and moved a matress to the corner of the living room so I was now permanently situated in the corner (the person that normally lived in the room I was sleeping in usually stayed over during the week).
David, Kelly, and Meta were all going to Berlin within a day or two, so I was hoping to get David's hoodie back to him... I also wanted to get to the stupid Indian Visa place, but by the time I got into the city (I was caught up with stuff at the house) the Visa office had closed... so I went to Owen's house.
Owen lives in south London, so it was cool seeing a new area of town :) We chilled out for a while, I petted his extremely-friendly kitty cats :) It was a chill afternoon/evening; but soon enough it was time to go back to the house... I missed meeting up with David because it was a little too late (only seven but he was already leaving the city centre) so I just went back.
It turned out perfect though, because I ended up getting the internet set up on my little computer that night! I was connected again! I ended up staying up late because of this hehehehe....

Hungover French Toast and Crumble Party!
The next day started late, as you may imagine. I was not feeling the best, so I lay around for a while using the internet and dozing. Jayne had left while I was still comatose, Kelly had been up for a bit, and there was talk of French Toast!
Kelly and David went out to get stuff for French Toast, and I continued to try and catch up on internet stuffz. They made some amazing toast! After this I was feeling much better! I was sent to the store to get some stuff for making crumble (you know like apple crumble but with more types of fruit!)... ended up going twice because I forgot ice cream (hey it's good I was getting fresh air though - it helped).
More people arrived and we all designed our own crumble. I decided on a mostly apple one, with some peach and blueberry. We all sat outside while it baked, then feasted on yummy yummy crumble with ice cream and wine!
Since our day started so late, it quickly became time for me to get back. The last buses and tubes were going to stop, so Kelly and I had to leave. We managed to catch the last light rail, then I took the tube back from there.... Kelly is a very nice Aussie girl; she offered me the key to her squatted flat in case I ever get stuck in the city and I need somewhere closer to crash!
Because of this journey, I learned that train stations with the same name as tube stops don't necessarily connect directly... so if you ever get off the stop named Bethnal Green train stop thinking it will go to the tube stop.... you have to walk for a bit through an interesting part of town. At least there are signs so it was not a complete disaster...
I got home fine of course, relieved to have a shower and clean clothes! I appreciate these things so much more now!
