The day after Potsdam was the start of a triple birthday weekend. Floh's, Alex's, and Vicky's birthdays all fell around each other so it was one big party at the End of the World. The Friday night was Open Mic night #2! I was not performing this time since I had been busy and didn't want to repeat performances, so I became a spectator. There was a violinist, a tango dancer (they ended up performing together with him dancing with her WITH the violin at the same time!) German bagpipes (poor neighbors), poetry, etc. Pascal had bought Floh a little gift, and ended up getting me a little phone dangle-thing - it was a fox!
it was so nice of him! It was his last night here so we were sad to see him go. The party lasted a while, but it was not too insane so that was good. I stayed up surprisingly late!
The next day was the birthday party with no theme. It was just going to be a big house party. They had a dj area set up, all the middle floor cleared, a chill room, a chatting room, and the dance floor. I took a few picturessss
Floh looking homeless haha
Andrej looking not homeless
Floh guessing what his gift was...
Alex and Andrej tried to make a bust in Hackfleisch
It looked more scary than anything...
we put him in the oven
BUT the neighbors couldn't handle the thought of another night without sleep (especially after the bagpipes) so they called the cops on us.
everyone was kicked out of the house, so the party moved to the adjacent lake. It was too cold there for me, so I lasted like ten minutes and walked home to go to bed.
I woke up the next day to see the chaos. It was my week to clean the kitchen, and Floh and I were leaving early Monday morning so we had to get all the cleaning done that day. We ate breakfast with the Dutch people that hitched all the way from Netherlands to come to the party, then started cleaning. I spent at least 5 hours in that kitchen, but in the end it looked like how I wanted.
We had a lot of beer bottles left over:
The rest of the day had to be spent packing! Copenhagen tomorrow!!!
