Okay so we had a nice rest before going out to the Eiffel! We asked the hotel people and they said we were going at a good time and they said yep, so we were encouraged but still slightly worried that there would be a huge line. We got there and it was misting a bit, so the top floor was closed for a while. It was apparently going to open again in half and hour though, so we decided to wait and take some night photos until we could buy top floor tickets...
We had to move really far back and put the camera on a weird angle and hoped for the best! It took a lot of shots to get one with most of the tower in... it was also not the driest weather too so I had to be careful not to get the camera too wet! This next one was facing the other way:
The tower would start to sparkle!
Eventually we were in line getting tickets to go up to the top. There were loads and loads of tourists, some very annoying. It felt weird being around English speakers, and not in a good way. I was very happy to be with Erin so she could at least order our tickets in French. We made it up to the tower after three line ups and tickets etc...
It was so pretty!
FOX was with us!
Poor Erin was so sick but still came out. Trooper.
Here's the arc:
a giant wheel...
looking up:
It was a fair walk back, so on the way I think we bought fast food. We passed by the arc on the way to the hotel, so I managed to get a night shot!
I went to bed satisfied :)
