Arrival in Rapallo

Dad had found a hotel near the Cinque Terra, in a place called Rapallo. We arrived after an easy drive where Yours Truly was the navigator, and immediately I liked the place. We were convinced to upgrade to the penthouse which was cool, and there was a lovely view of the water! We dropped our stuff and did the obligatory initial walkabout:

We went out for dinner here, but then went for more drinks and after many glasses of wine we were back in the hotel room trying to take night pictures. Amazingly, some of them turned out!





Dad fell asleep on the couch as mom and I talked away for a while. Eventually it was time to hit the hay though since as always there was something to explore the next day :)
