Kilkenny Castle and Other Attractions

meow! I am now in Belfast, but my blog says Kilkenny still... arg. I still have to write about Waterford, Cork, Killarney, and Galway... wow.

okay so after the epic night/morning I slept in. I was fine, so I went for a walk and decided to check out the insides of places. It was kinda cold out... the first stop was the castle...

As you can see, it was pretty neat. I wandered around after, in the general direction of the Cathedral. I was determined not to have to give them six Euro for seeing a church. If I couldn't get away with it, I wasn't going in. At this point, I've already seen the inside of soooo many cathedrals/churches/city halls etc.

Well I made it there, and there was a mass thing just finishing! There were lots of kids in uniforms around, and way too many people using it as a church to rightfully try and charge me to go in... I walked straight in.

It was very pretty - glad I went in. I even got a free piece of cake! I was thinking of going for the coffee, but I thought that was pushing it.

I wandered from there towards the Black Abbey. I wanted to go in mostly for the name.

When I went in, it was ten to six, but there was a mass at six... so there were people in there as you can see... and then the guy came out all dressed in white and I was creeped out... Took my photos and tried not to run out before I burst into flames or something...

After that I was done with things. It was getting colder by the second, so I walked back to the house and went on the computer. I decided to have a cozy night in. I sat on my ass and found places to stay in Waterford and Cork! I edited photos, wrote some stuff, etc. Basically I sat on my ass for hours, then I went and lay in my bed in the spare room and watched Deadwood. The next day I was to take a bus to Waterford.

It's not crowded at all actually, most of the south is spacious countryside! Yeah it's pretty quiet, the streets are dead from 6-9, but then everyone is out at the pubs!

I have no idea whose they were, I read the names but they didn't stick :s

Yay I finished the third season while I was in Cork! I have yet to write about that... my god im behind...

miss you too!
