We hitched into the city again, running behind on time. We still went for coffee though, and while having said coffee I realized that I wanted to go back with Floh and go to this Lithuania camp. They were going to have hot tubs.
Last minute, and already late, we caught a bus back to the house, I packed my stuff, and we caught a bus back to the city to get yet another one to a good spot to get out of the city.
We started hitchhiking from there after getting some food. It was way later than anticipated, but we got a ride to a gas station close to the Austrian border, and then we lucked out and got a ride all the way to Nürnberg.
Here is where luck disappeared. We were not in an ideal petrol station, and nobody seemed to be going where we needed to go! It was surprisingly cold, and I was getting very grumpy. I was running out of patience despite the fact that the station attendant was giving us free coffee and food, and letting us sit at a table watching hours of How I Met Your Mother in the warmth.
I finally got too tired to stay awake at around 7:30-8:00 I think. I fell asleep wrapped in Floh's sleeping bag at the Petrol Station. People started moving more in the morning, and we managed to find a truck to take us to just outside Berlin. He was young, but I don't think he spoke much English and let me sleep in the bed in the back.
I got out at this next petrol station and the worst thing possible happened. I went to use the toilet and I could feel the extreme urgency that could only happen with a bladder problem again...
This could not have come at a worse time!
We found a ride into town pretty quick, but I was in EXTREME discomfort in the back. I have never felt anything like this in my life - I know the upcoming descriptions are going to be graphic to warn you, but they happened and I might as well explain. I wanted to cry and I never cry from pain. The S-bahn rolled into sight and it was all I could do to not just run searching for a toilet leaving my bag for Floh to deal with.
Everywhere I looked was a potential washroom. I found one in the bottom of a mall thing next to the S-Bahn after the elevator went the wrong way and it made me wait precious more seconds. Old ladies let me in front of them because they could see my sweat and bug eyes I think.
It was relief but my whole body was tingling. I looked down and it was red. I was pissing blood (again). I wiped and there wasn't even any yellow - just a mucousy glob of bright red blood. That was not a good sign, I thought. Explained why it felt so fucked up. I had seen pink pee because of blood in it, but this was only blood, and it looked half solid to boot. What the hell was going on? I came out of there pretty freaked out and still very uncomfortable.
I had to wait for the stupid S Bahn. It was not running very often, so I was thinking that I might not make it. This process went on with me stopping at the changeover places. When we got to his house after longer than necessary (because of me too - I felt like a pile of shit delaying things even longer when we had already been on the road so long) it was easier because I could just go as often as needed. It calmed down enough to go out to see Alvaro for his goodbye party though which was nice!
I had tea only that night. Tea and water.
