Trip to Durrës

I had made arrangements with one of the girls from the night before to go to Durrës together today! It's the closest city on the coast, so we were going to the beach :) I met her in the afternoon after walking around a bit, then we went to the "bus station" which is actually a pile of dirt with some secondhand buses with people screaming. It was super easy to find a bus to Durrës, so we hopped on and away we went!

The bus wasn't too long... we got coffee in the city and she asked people how to get to the beach by local bus. This was her first time here as well, but it was so much easier to navigate because she knew the language and could ask anyone anything! Somehow we still missed a stop and ended up in this bus loop thing out of the city. There was nice beach areas nearby though - we just had to walk for a little while... we managed to get on a furgon for free for most of the trip, then hopped onto the beach!























On the bus ride back she sketched me!!



I was impressed! She's a good artist :)

We went back to Radio to use the Wifi and upload a couple of the pictures for her... But then while we were sitting there, Zhujeta and some friends walked in! We sat and talked for a while before I got tired and walked to the house.
