as you can see, the good weather brought out a LOT more people from wherever they were hiding! I think they were from one of the many cruise ships that were always in the bay..
This kitty loved me!! I was going to get a bag of chips and it took me forever because I couldn't stop petting it :) It then decided to follow me from the supermarket... It had waited for me to buy my chips!
I was freaked about leading it too far from home, but I wasn't sure if I should leave it either (I felt protective)... the perfect thing happened though! A child in a wheelchair and his brother, also pretty small, got to pet the friendly kitty so I was happy it was safe and getting attention... my work there was done :)
here is a cemetary I happened to walk by on the way back..
I went down a very nice main street here, on the way to somewhere on the water where apparently you could watch the sunset:
It had started to rain after the first picture there! It was sunny, then all of a sudden I felt drops. Then it turned to torrential downpour almost right away! There was this sheltered area on the walkway, and there were tons of people gathering to escape the rain (some were running for it!) so I hopped under there and watched the sun go down among the strangers. It was beautiful. The rain seemed to be a bit lighter, so I decided to walk around the hill-park on the way back to the hostel. I was still getting rained on, but it was pretty for a while. I arrived in the dark, chilled and wet. I changed, dried off, warmed up, and decided to move on the next day.
