well I went into the city armed with crafts and an agenda...
I wanted to fix the bank card issue, and other errands.
First I visited the vendors - Marcos, Tiago, and a Portuguese guy I can't remember the name of (didn't really talk to him since he didn't really speak English). Nora met us during her lunch break and hung out for a while :)
She took me by the place we were at the night before for a better look at all the different shades of greeeeeen
She put me on the back of her bike and we went hunting for a craft store :) She pointed me to it on her way back to work but it was closed :(
I came back and went to the post office instead, then I was off to the bank to ask about the bank card, had to eat with the visa since people in the bank weren't really able to help me. I was getting worried about my stupid card not working.
I went back to the vendors, but it started to rain so we ended up relocating to shelter then to an underground area. There were break dancers there which was cool. I have a little short video of one - it's not the best of them but hey it's something.
Nora was off work by then so she came and met us there! We watched a little more, but then we took off to take the bus back. It was sprinkling out still, so we ran to the adjacent supermarket, got some food, and I ended up spending most of my evening on the phone with the bank etc trying to figure out what to do about my card! They were not helpful! My parents were though, my mom volunteered to go to the bank the next day and see what she could do :)
