East meets West... on the Prime Meridian

Waking up without my bladder complaining felt very good indeed.

I was still hesitant about leaving, but I was not going to stay inside ALL day, I had to at least try to do some stuff... So I braved the outside world and walked to the chemist, where I could ask some questions about what I might have to do if it comes back (last time it would go away for up to 8 hours and come back with a vengeance). They said I should probably go on antibiotics if it gets that bad again (yay... not) so that sucked.

It was still behaving though, so on the walk back I decided I could handle the tube and hopped on, heading for the Indian Visa place to try and get this visa thing sorted.

The place online turned out to be an agency - expensive and not what I was looking for at all. They didn't even know where the High Commission was - claimed they moved too often so they could never keep track... sketchy. I left.

I walked by the Dali Exhibition/Museum, but it was 14 Pounds, not free like most places. I was not going to pay 30 Canadian when I don't even know how big it is... I took a picture of the statue outside the place though!

After that I took the tube. I hadn't decided where I was going to go until I got there and picked a stop. London Bridge sounded important...

Here is HMS Belfast!

this is Tower Bridge, turns out London Bridge isn't really that pretty.

Here is where they keep the crown jewels... I didn't want to pay to go in because I simply didn't really care enough... but they are in that castle thing!

here I am on some road thing

So after this random exploration, I decided to really use my unlimited travel card and took the rail to Greenwich - where time began!! I walked around the city which was quite nice, plus a university by accident (I was lost)... then I asked for directions and finally headed towards the Observatory at the top of the hill in the park.

On the way up there was a play of Alice and the Looking Glass. I could sneak a peek through some bushes, so that was cool.

It was a climb to the top, but it was worth it. I got to stand on the Prime Meridian! I took cheesy photos too which I do like to do:

Soon enough it was starting to get late, so I took the train back and made myself pasta. My bladder had been good today, so I didn't want to mess it up by drinking or going out. I had a movie and pasta night before falling asleep :)

Oh man that sucks...bladder issues are bad enough at home let alone when traveling. I seem to have conquered my chronic infections...knock on wood.

Yer in England! Hey if you go to Brighton, look out for a jerk with longish curly red hair named Morgan and please kick him in the nuts and say "Lorra says hi."

;) Glad you're having a good time!
