Coffees and a Big Dinner

I woke up earlier than usual - around ten thirty! I ran into Nora's dad in the kitchen, and he told me to check out the tours of the Duke's palace. I was interested but not willing to pay more than 5 Euro for it... I wanted to check my couchsurfing responses and such but didn't want to spend the day in the house, so I packed my computer and headed into town.

I went to the palace and found out the times of the English-speaking tour, then off I went to the tourist office to see about prices. It was too much money....

With that sorted, I went to a place with yummy coffee and read some of my book for a while :) after this I wandered about, vaguely looking for somewhere nice with Wifi and cheap but good coffee...

Eventually I found somewhere acceptable (not ideal because of a multitude of flies hanging around for some reason) and set up my computer. I ended up geeking out for at least an hour, until Nora said she was meeting Isa at a bar/cafe right beside where I was! I hopped over and met up with Isa and her friend from Spain. Nora arrived, and then we ran into Marcos!! We all hung out there drinking even more coffee (but it was all properly made so my stomach was totally fine) and figuring out how the dinner thang was going to go down.

Isa was making sushi with her Spanish friend, and the two Greek guys from the bluegrass show were going to make Greek food! Everyone was going to go to Isa's, but the sushi takes time to make so it was going to be a late dinner.

Isa and company took off to make the sushi, and Nora and I went to pick out some dessert. They have this public bike system there, and we decided to use that to get to Isa's house... We had so much time we ran out of stuff to do so we just biked to her house (with one stop to play pinball haha) and hung out there. Rodrigo showed up, and after a while later the Greeks did with their food!

There was soooo much food, but it was all so good I stuffed myself as much as possible. This was followed by wine and dirty joke telling in the yard, until the host got tired and decided it was time to sleep.

We were invited to the Greeks for more hanging out, and Nora and I accepted. They lived pretty close to Nora, so we sat in the kitchen eating ice cream and talking for a while. It was a student housing thing, so the kitchen had this really unpleasant florescent light which eventually got to me. They gave us a ride back to our place very very full of food :)
