From the Computer Screen to Paper

I woke up and slowly made my way out the door. I still had apple cinnamon oatmeal (yes I bought packages of this stuff when I was trying to be healthy and now I kind of like it even though it looks nasty) so I ate that, got ready, chatted, and prepared for the computer store hunt.

I searched and found a can of air, so I could at least clean the thing... high hopes I know... but then I found a store after a while that actually did repairs and I showed them what it was doing. They said it might be a problem with the motherboard and it would be expensive to get it fixed... so it would be best to check out that warranty option. Not good news for me...

I wandered around the area of town where Big Pink is deep in thought. No one was going to be home until evening and they had no spare key, so when I was sick of walking, I tried my computer again and then settled on reading in a nice park. Time passed by quickly...

I found a beach volleyball park under a Ubahn station... A couple little parks.. I sat in a second park and read, then a third but that one smelled funny so I left. I was near some churches and other things so I walked around those too. I got a little lost as always, and ended up in Potsdamer Place. Instead of just taking the UBahn home I thought hey I will walk but just down different streets than I came. Almost got lost again, but I had my map so I just stopped every two minutes to look at where I was. I found my way back and people were home! I was able to use the internet, but when I tried to skype call people in Germany business hours were over, and to Canada it was not working at all pure and simple. I wrote to acer support, and some people on Couchsurfing to see if anyone could look at it for me, and to the parents to see about the warranty.

It was all waiting after that, so I just read again... I finished Slaughterhouse Five that night - it only took me a day to read in the end! I gave it to Marie-Angela the next day.
