I just made it, and ate lunch with Nora and Rodrigo (Nora worked five minutes away) and settled in :) The MUDAM (Modern art museum) was free on Wednesday evenings, so I decided to go out there to check it out! I biked the whole way, which was tiring but good for me.
The museum was quite nice!
Those pictures are stained glass with x ray pictures and anatomical pictures on it... the whole section with that was decorated very gothic-style. It was nifty.
I got a call from Nora while at the museum saying that two friends and her were going to Trier for the evening, and they could pick me up on the way!
I said yes, so the next thing I knew I was off to Germany :)
It was very pretty - and cheaper than Lux. We had dinner on a terrace, walked around, ate ice cream, had a beer, but before we knew it it was time to go back!
We drove back and I was dropped off at Rodrigo's. His roommate let me in (Garfield) and I hung out until Rodrigo showed up and we all ended up on the terrace drinking wine. I ended up being awake for a while talking away, but eventually fell asleep :)
